Questions and answers
These are the questions people ask before sending the first payment. If yours is not here, ask — we will add it.
Before you order
- You pay nothing to get a quote and an inspection report
- The final price is confirmed in writing and does not move afterwards
- The contract is signed before the first payment, not after it
FAQ
- How long from payment to Bulgarian plates?
- Usually eight to twelve weeks. Sea freight is the longest part, six to ten weeks depending on the port and the sailing schedule. Customs and registration add about another week.
- How is payment structured?
- A deposit before the car is bought and the balance before shipping. Exact amounts and deadlines are in the contract and agreed before you pay anything at all.
- Can I see the car before I pay?
- Not in person — the car is in Korea. You receive the official inspection report covering every body panel, the state of the engine and gearbox, the mileage and the inspector's remarks, along with the photographs from the lot.
- What is an inspection report, and why should I trust it?
- On the Korean market every car is assessed by an independent inspector against a standard scheme: each body part separately, the main assemblies, battery health on hybrids. It is structured data rather than a description written by the seller.
- Is there a warranty?
- A used car comes with no factory warranty. What we provide instead is complete information before purchase and responsibility for the car matching its inspection report — the terms are in the contract.
- What if the car arrives different from the description?
- Material differences from the report are covered in the contract and discussed with you before payment. We do not leave that question for the moment a problem has already happened.
- Who pays the duty and VAT?
- They are included in the turnkey price we confirm. We pay and clear them; you do not deal with customs.
- Do the cars meet European standards?
- We check this before buying, for each specific car. If a particular model or trim would cause trouble registering in Bulgaria, we say so before you pay.
- Can I buy through a company and reclaim VAT?
- Yes, we work with companies. Terms differ — write to us with the specifics.
- What if I change my mind after the deposit?
- It depends how far the process has gone. There are more options before the car is bought than after. The terms are fixed in the contract in advance — read them before you pay.
- Why do you not show all the auction cars?
- Auction lots live for hours. A list refreshed once a day would show cars that no longer exist. So for now we work to order, and when the direct auction feed is connected the lots will appear on the site.
- Do you import into other EU countries?
- Yes. Bulgaria is the first market for the Korean route, but we import elsewhere in the Union too. Ask about your country — terms and taxes differ.
